  • Every nanny at The Nanny Club has been interviewed extensively in person. Regardless of technology, we believe meeting all of our nannies face to face at least once is extremely valuable and is a compulsory part of our recruitment process.

    We verify that all of our nannies have valid documentation:

    -The right to work in the UK

    -A current DBS check (previously known as a CRB check)

    -Certification of qualifications

    -First aid certification

    -A driving liscense

    -Adequate nannying insurance

    -Any other documentation specific to your vacancy

    We also review a minimum of 2 references before allowing a nanny to join us at The Nanny Club.

  • You may choose to employ your nanny yourself. The Nanny Club can support you with bespoke contract writing and the completion process and provide guidance on your nanny’s tax, NI and pension contributions, and what you need to do to manage all of this.

    The Nanny Club also offers an extremely popular nanny employment service for all of our clients.

  • Should you choose to be your nanny’s employer, this will be your responsibility if your nanny earns more than the lower limits for each. The Nanny Club can supply you with information and support to guide you through this process.

    If you choose that The Nanny Club will manage the employment of your nanny, we do all the tricky bits and paperwork for you. We will provide you with monthly calculations explaining exactly what you need to pay.

  • Our nanny employment service is available for all of our clients, regardless of the style of contract. For a competitve monthly premium, we act as the employer of your nanny and calculate and manage the payment of tax, NI and pensions for you. This removes all the stress that comes in having private staff and we believe this to be a modern solution, unique to The Nanny Club, to assist busy families.

    We ensure the nanny’s integration into your household is seamless and provide all of our employed nannies with a wealth of support and inspiration for activities, recipes and places to go. In turn, our overseeing of employment provides you with a channel to help negociate changes that may arise as children grow.

    Our employment service is never of cost to nannies, and the only fee we charge you monthly is for the convenience of managing employment (and the paperwork involved) for you.

    Our built-in nanny employment will always be more cost effective than out-sourced nanny employment assistance.

  • The Nanny Club offers a vetting service to help you evaluate which of your own candidates would be best suited to work in your household.

    The Nanny Club also extend the invitation to use our contracts and nanny employment service to clients who have sourced their own nannies already.

  • Should you choose to manage the employment of your nanny yourself, we charge a competitive one time finder’s fee for every nanny we place. This is three and a half times your nanny’s weekly gross salary.

    If you decide you’d like to use a bespoke employment contract from The Nanny Club, the fee for this starts at £50.

    Nanny vetting as a stand alone service, starting from £100.

    If The Nanny Club employs your nanny, you pay a small monthly premium on top of your nanny’s hourly rate to cover the administration costs involved in this. The Nanny Club’s nanny employment service is guarateed to be more cost effective than out-sourced nanny employment assistance.
